Manufacturing is a production process made using different methods from past to present. These methods are divided into two main groups as machining and chipless (casting). Welded construction, which is another manufacturing method, is the unifying element of production. The manufacturing method to be applied is determined according to the sectoral needs. heat treatment

One of the features that makes OSS Sourcing assertive in quality is its application of heat treatment in all necessary situations without seeking the customer’s request. Considering the material properties of the products, the minimum delivery conditions stipulated by the standards are provided in production.

Part characteristics are handled with annealing, recrystallization and normalization processes. In this context, while stress relief annealing is applied for cast iron, ductile iron and steel castings, ideal conditions are provided with temperature curves determined depending on the carbon amount of the product applied in order to obtain a homogeneous microstructure.

Application areas of semi-finished products or parts with regional heat treatment such as welding are brought to ideal conditions in production. Thus, the formation of different granular structures is not allowed even in the smallest areas. By reducing the grain sizes, the desired mechanical properties are obtained. Thus, the products closely adhere to the working principle.

After normalization, when necessary, options such as tempering service or oil pool used in cooling, water pool and sodium-nitrate pool are provided to meet all the features sought in the product. Quality control processes are activated at every stage throughout the application and it is aimed to get the best results under optimum conditions. Measuring instruments such as pyrometer and thermocouple used in the process are continuous in order to maintain quality.

The finishing process, which takes place in the production chain of OSS Sourcing’s warehouse in Turkey, is applied in various ways. Dry paint, wet paint, galvanized coating and more are examples of applications. In this way, the final products are transformed into products that are resistant to corrosion, have the desired hardness values and have high resistance.
